Sydney Amateur Sailing Club

Crew Opportunities

The Sydney Amateur Sailing Club and members welcome all enquiries from people interested to crew in our races.  Generally skippers are prepared to put in considerable time teaching and training crew.  The Club conducts racing inshore on the harbour and offshore as well as twilight races on a Friday night.  The best way to get to try out in a crew is to join the boat on Friday nights for twilights.  If you register your interest with the Club by sending an email to office@sasc.com.au. The staff and officers will help you to find a suitable position.  Many people attend sailing school and donít take their interest further.  Successful racing depends on having skilled and competent crew so don't hesitate to register your interest.
